MY WEDDING DAY

I KNOW IT SOUNDS CORNY BUT IT REALLY WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE AND IT WENT SOMETHING LIKE THIS............

Had a relly quiet morning at home on my own it was strange been there all alone but i think it was the best way as i never stressed or got too nervy i just chilled out and looked forward to 3 o'clock
at 1 pm my parents arrived at mine and we had a little luch and still no nerves!!
1.30pm put my suit on and i was shaking so much i couldnt faten the buttons!! what a difference have an hr can make! my auntie arrived somewhere in the mix and we all jumped in a pre booked taxi and we were on our way... until we got about 5 mins from the venue and all of a sudden something struck me......ID FORGOTTEN THE RINGS!!! AND MY SPEECH AND THE GIFTS FOR THE BRIDESMAID AND BESTMAN!! so turn round taxi and well try again once that trauma was over we got to the venue LATE SO THE BESTMAN AND ALL THE FRIENDS I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MEETING IN THE BAR PRE CEREMONY THOUGHT ID BOTTLED IT !!

but arrive we did checked in to our rooms , bar for a quick one to stop the nerves (it didnt work) then had to meet the registrar who took me and bestman through the proceedings explaining how it would work and then checked our names were spelt right etc etc
And that was it i was confined to the room where the ceremony was to be held just in case the bride was early!!!(theey really dont know her!)
but it was nice to be there whilst all the guests arrived but it was the longest 30 mins of my life i was sweatin buckets and talking rubbish cos i was so nervy

Then the time was there and my beautiful wife to be walked in the door to the tune of 'our song' and that was enough for me to make me cry... she looked amazing i was so stunned i was speachless!!
by the time she got next to me we were both crying our eyes out!!
Then the tears were overtaken by smiles that lasted the rest of the day
The ceremony was short and sweet and said everything we wanted it to i had a flutter over my words but only cos i was holding back the tears
And that was it we were MAN AND WIFE and boy did i kiss the bride!!!!!!!

The photos were plain sailing just a case of dodging the rain drops and organising the hoards!
then off to the reception suite which looked great my mum and dad paid for the flowers for the day and they really did us proud the room looked great
we did the receiving line thing which was fun as wed not had much chance to speak to people and they all took the oppurtunity to call us mr and mrs!

then the most feared part of the day......THE SPEECHES
Father of the brdie first great speech short but accurate BUT hed stolen some of my material!!! horror what was i to do?
BUT it was no problem i stood up and the words flowed no problem and to a point i enjoyed it!
BESTMAN took the oppurtunty to riddicule me which i had expected and he got the biggest laughs of the afternoon UNTIL i presented my new bride with a bib that id had made cos she was so concerned about spilling on her dress!! it brought the house down.
this was followed by a great reception meal lots of drinks and a good old chat with our nearest and dearest
The night Doo followed straight on which brought the arrival of another 50 people and really that was it by the time wed greeted everyone , had our first dance and cut the cake it was over the day had come to an end and neither of us could quite beleive that after all the time in the build up it had gone so fast
THEN it was off to the bridal suite......and yes you guessed it confetti by the tonne it was every where in the bed in the drapes in our bags in our shoes ETC ETC ETC

All topped off with a bottle of champers theyd left us on ice

and the rest is PRIVATE!!!!!!!
