Got to start somewhere!

Hi everyone / anyone ?
im new to this so i gotta start somwhere heres a quick intro to me
Im Early 30's male whos always been overweight and despite losing 5 stones i still am .
appoximately 3 years ago i decided enough was enough and i ought to do something about my weight before it killed me so i did, i changed the way i eat and i stopped drinking as much,and very quickly i lost a stone and then very slowly i lost another then it ground to a halt altogether so had to change the way ilived , previously i lounged around and did very little so it was in my intrest to start slow so thats what i did i walked on the treadmill 10 mins at a time and over a year i incresed it to a slow trot and over the last twelve monthe ive run 3 half marathons 4 10 ks and a 10 mile race it has completely changed my life and who i am.
im starting this blog now to try and keep me going i still need to lose 2 stones or so and ive ground to a halt again so need some motivation im running a marathon in 7 weeks and im finding it hard to juggle diet and long distance but i keep trying
anyway thats me for now.
